Sophia Academy’s iAm Camp is an extension of the school's mission to provide personalized education tailored to meet student needs in a faith based environment. Each camp session is designed to bring the best out of the camper by encouraging the child’s natural talents and teaching new skills in a variety of multisensory ways. Campers who are rising 1st through 5th graders will enjoy hands-on and critical thinking experiences.

The Sophia Academy Summer Leadership Institute: June 10-14, 2013
Sophia Academy Leadership Institute seeks students who demonstrate leadership potential. This unique middle school program, open to rising sixth through tenth graders, will allow young men and women to gain valuable experience in leadership by participating in meaningful and correlated activities in a cooperative and positive environment.
Sophia Academy’s Leadership Institute is designed to inspire and motivate students and to encourage curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
The area of study for Summer 2013 will be Homelessness, Poverty, and Childhood Obesity. Participants will visit a variety of academic/educational institutions and meet with professionals to understand these issues. The curriculum offers a unique approach to leadership that makes the Sophia Academy Leadership Institute an unparalleled opportunity for these students to learn and apply new concepts in an intellectually stimulating environment. The director of the Leadership Institute is Mrs. Marie Corrigan, Founding Director and Principal. Students must register by April 1. Students aspiring to be Peer Leaders for the 2013-2014 school year are strongly encourged to apply.
Summer Enrichment Packets
The Summer Enrichment Packet is an assignment to be completed over the summer break. The packet is due the first week of school - Thursday, August 22 for 100% consideration, Friday, August 23 for 75% consideration (late). Assignments submitted after Friday, August 23 will not be considered. The assignments are intended to be completed over the course of several weeks, so please plan accordingly. The assignments are given below:
