The Sophia Academy iAm Summer Camp June 8 - July 3, 2015

Sophia Academy’s iAm Camp is an extension of the school's mission to provide personalized education tailored to meet student needs in a faith based environment. Each camp session is designed to bring the best out of the camper by couraging the child’s natural talents and teaching new skills in a variety of multisensory ways. Campers who are rising kindergarteners through 5th graders will enjoy hands-on and critical thinking experiences. Camp Director is Theresa Payne

The Sophia Academy Summer Leadership Institute: July 6-10, 2015

Sophia Academy Leadership Institute seeks students who demonstrate leadership potential. This unique program, open to rising sixth through tenth graders, will allow young men and women to gain valuable experience in leadership by participating in meaningful and correlated activities in a cooperative and positive environmnt.
Sophia Academy’s Leadership Institute is designed to inspire and motivatestudents and to encourage curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

The area of study for Summer 2015 will be cHomelessness/Poverty/Human TraffickingLeadership Institute

The director this year is Carrie Thompson and each week will feature field trips to community organizations and presentations by experts in the area of study, aiming to include the Project Open Hand, Compassion Atlanta, Centers for Disease Control and the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the homeless.

Your student will gain an understanding of the problems in the world and that he/she is capable of solving them. You are inspiring him/her to broaden his/her thinking in a new and challenging way. The Sophia Academy Leadership Institute will teach them about themselves and they will develop knowledge, maturity and compassion.
